Bought and merged two bi-coastal companies with complementary product lines and integrated and streamlined management, operations and rationalized downstream staffs. Fully negotiated financing documents, created investment thesis and was a member of the Board of Directors. Companies sold to Tyco International for a 54% IRR. (3) Multi-lateral, highly complex investment in DirecTV's Latin America startup through a joint venture with one of DirecTV's original partners. Also, did detailed diligence on potential, ultimately not closed, transactions in the refrigerated shipping business as well as several IP-based retail transactions. Left Bessemer to return to branded consumer roots. -
