TPC Group is a mid-size chemical manufacturer operating under (2) Title V and (5) NSR permits. The 256-acre Houston Plant produces more than 1.5 billion lbs/yr of butadiene, butene-1, PIB, MTBE, isobutylene, and other chemicals. The Beaumont Chemical Plant operates under two Title V, a RCRA Part B, and five NSR permits. The facility is a Major Source of VOC, HAPs (1,3-BD, hexane, benzene, styrene), NOx and CO.- Prepared and submitted Title V Deviation Reports for multiple FOP’s.- Prepared and submitted MACT periodic reports, including Polymer/Resin Group 1, HWC, and MON. - Wrote and reviewed SOP’s, Work Instructions, and MOC’s (incl. PBR applications for facility changes)- Performed emissions calculations, including preparation and submittal of Annual Emissions Inventory and SARA 313 Toxic Release Inventory (TRI).- Managed CEMS/PEMS, and reviewed daily emissions/calibration reports for 8 boilers, including 5 BIF.- Coordinated the LDAR program for ~100,000 components and (5) cooling towers.- Investigated, reported, and created final records of environmental releases.- Reviewed SSMP events; weekly RV/RD and AVO inspections; and daily flare observation results.- Prepared and lead monthly Environmental Review Meetings with Plant and Divisional Management.- Facilitated EPA §114 LDAR investigation, EPA §114 Flare investigation, TCEQ Violation Review Meeting, and comprehensive 3rd Party audit.- Implemented and supported the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.- Collaborated regularly with operations and maintenance personnel.
