Mr. Abrams has over 30 years experience in quantitative finance as a portfolio and risk manager developing models to generate non-correlated returns. These include building portfolios comprised of equity derivatives, convertible bonds, fixed income derivatives and auto ABS portfolios. He has founded three companies all based on quantitative strategies. Aracar Group, a Latam AI driven technology platform providing vehicle ownership to the masses using the Aracar secured credit score for auto loans and promoting financial inclusion originating and servicing loans in Brazil, Argentina & Uruguay. The platform through its dealership services provides dealers and consumers greater efficiency in the purchase and sale of a vehicle. Mr Abrams is also the co-founder of Russellcar, the largest taxi company in Argentina which uses environmentally friendly natural gas powered vehicles providing drivers the opportunity to own their vehicle through its rent to own model to increase financial independence for the underbanked. In 2001, Mr. Abrams founded Titan Capital Group, one of the first pure volatility hedge funds. The firm generated a 12 year track record of non-correlated returns with peak assets of $1 billion and won numerous awards such as: Absolute Return Awards: Arbitrage & Convertibles, 2008. Barron’s “The Top 100 Hedge Funds, Ranked #26 in 2009 and 33rd in 2010 for three year returns. Best Relative value Fund Manager, Hedgeweek USA Awards 2012. Prior to forming Titan, Mr. Abrams was co-head of U.S. Equity Derivative Trading and Convertible Arbitrage at Merrill Lynch. He also held positions with Bank Paribas and CS First Boston leading LATAM derivative trading and performed research with Fischer Black on derivative strategies, quantitative factor analysis on equities and the capital asset pricing model at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. His global experience in the financial markets spans the USA, Latin America, and the Asian markets having successfully traded every devaluation from the 1994 tequila crises in Mexico, 1998 Brazil devaluation, and 2008 global financial collapse.
