Before retiring, I spent 30 years as an effective and successful Export Manager with substantial international experience in business development and distributor management in the field of microbiological diagnostics and reagents supplying medical, pharmaceutical and industrial networks.I was responsible for developing new and emerging markets and maximising sales to existing customers for an organisation turning over in excess of £500 million; planning and organising new product launches whilst providing full support and motivation for distributors. Being born in Wales, Rugby has also been stamped into my genes from the outset, and in 1998 I started coaching rugby when my young son was old enough to carry a ball. Two sons and over 20 years later, I have spent a long time developing my coaching and have moved from coaching boys rugby to coaching girls rugby at the time when it was first emerging in my club in 2011. Since a lucky early retirement in 2016, I have had the privilege of spending much of my time now immersed in rugby, doing the job I enjoy the most, coaching this fantastic sport and watching my players develop.
