- Worked in a team of Engineers and Data Scientists to build an unsupervised ML anomaly detection application, using spark and scala.- Built an avro to parquet conversion application as part of the main cyber security platform which optimizes file sizes and detects and handles malformed avro files, using spark and scala.- Wrote a distributed k-medoids library based off a paper and reference implementation in spark and scala.- Wrote an FP library to wrap a popular config library so any errors while parsing the config are tracked back to the bad configuration.- Ongoing maintenance of the main cyber security platform including bug fixes, enhancements, etc.- Drove process improvements including moving to Kanban, pull request guidelines, better communication tooling.

This required integrating with web services for sport, movies, music, and maps using PHP.Yahoo Hosted Search:- Designed and built a completely new version of Yahoo’s Hosted Search (YHS) in PHP, localised to 48 different markets and running in 5 different data centres around the world.
