Russell A. Schultz is an award-winning Visual Marketing Communications Strategist (Creative Director/Graphic Designer/Marketer) — with a TWIST . . . or two!As a sole-practitioner I have completed more than 15,000 design projects, providing graphic design, printing, promotional products, and social media marketing services to a growing number of clients looking to increase sales and brand awareness, or promote a particular event or cause.Graphic Design USA magazine awarded my work in the top 10% of entries for their 2023 American Packaging Design Award (over 4,100 entries) for our Beer Label Designs for Pollyanna Brewing Company. We also won the American Digital Design Award (over 2,600 entries) for an animated Social Media Marketing Design for the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce's Throwback Music Fest Miss Throwback Pin-Up Contest and another for Website Design for The Police Officers Network. Whether tasked with creating and launching a new brand or adopting and propelling an established brand, each new project is undertaken as an opportunity to utilize my knowledge, experience, and creative talents as a communicator, innovator, self-starter, and leader. My primary aim is to increase mutual understanding in the world by helping others communicate more effectively and efficiently through the presentation of ideas and information in a clear, concise, consistent, and visually-engaging manner.A parallel career with the Chicago Police Department as a Police Officer and Violent Crimes Detective presented countless opportunities for both visual and traditional communication successes, while combating crime and disorder on the streets of Chicago — How’s that for a TWIST!Keeping the twisting alive, I also serve as an Adjunct Professor (in person) at Aurora University and Saint Xavier University and online with Franklin University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
