I am a 39-year veteran of the Construction Industry with strong qualifications built on a deep, ground-up understanding of the construction environment. I have experience in the supervision and management of multiple aspects of construction companies including corporate management, operations management, project management, MEP coordination, marketing, field operations, and client relationship management.I began my career immediately after high school, working in the construction trades. I went on to earn a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh with an emphasis in Construction Management. My education includes knowledge of construction management systems, the legal environment within construction, CPM scheduling, professional development, communications, contract interpretation and design / build processes. In the course of my career, I have held the positions of Tradesman, Project Manager, Design Build Engineer, MEP Coordinator, Operations Manager, Vice President of Operations, Vice President and President. I have developed solid technical, strategic and communication skills, with an accomplished record of building client relationships and achieving project success. My executive level abilities include, leadership with a focus on customer service/ relationships, developing successful project strategies including risk mitigation, defining team member roles/ responsibilities, team building, effective communication, effective conflict resolution and adaptive project management approaches.
