Yearly shutdown to do maintenance on Filler/Capper/Rinser and packing In September 2015 I was asked to transfer to canning lines Ferrum and K211. We were also looking after the Shorai line which is a bottle-blowing line. The canning line we covered can supply and transfer from depalletiser to fillers.1. Make sure the transfer of cans runs smoothly on conveyors to the filler2. Make sure can run smoothly into filler and timing and filling is to specifications and process3. Transfer to seamer where the lid is applied and rolled on rotation through chucks and rollers to form a perfect seal4. We also do height and diameter changes for other size cans5. Seam checks and tear down and measure for tolerances on sealing cover hooks/body hooks and seam length and thickness and integrity of the seal6. Check mats that check fill heights and density checks via a radioactive checking device7. Pasteurizer and P.V. monitoring devices, pumps, dosing of chemical and zone temperature controls8. Date coders for can best before dating and tray coders after packaging9. G.P.I change over to 4 pack, 6 pack, 8 pack and 10 pack and breakdowns10. T.F.S which transfers packed boxes into trays and shrink-wrapped11. Robots receiving trays and stacking for distribution to customersIncluded in my responsibilities are Fire Warden and H&S Representative.

Managing business hands-on manufacturing and installation of wrought iron furniture, driveway gates, security gates, burglar guards, light engineering, automation and communications of gates. Tig, arc and mig welding.

Maintenance of gearboxes, conveyors hydraulics, pneumatics, splicing machines, extruder, mills, mounding machines, planned maintenance, welding, and assisting with electrical breakdowns.

Maintenance of mounding machines, core blowers sand conveyors, pallet conveyors & weight conveyors, pneumatics & hydraulics, gearboxes, cranes, dust extractors, furnaces, hoist ladles & installation of machinery.

Electrical and mechanical maintenance on locomotives, fault finding, stripping the building of traction Motors, stripping and rebuilding of high and low tension electrical switch gear, and equipment testing.
