After completing my ONC and then HNC in 1988, I was given the position of Electronics Engineer. In 2002 I was promoted to Senior Electronics Design Engineer, 3 years after completing a BEng (Hons) degree.Project Experience:Complete life cycle development of Reconnaissance systems Line Replacement Unit, including specification writing, detailed design, and implementation. Creating Wiring Diagrams, electronic PEC schematic entry and FPGA/CPLD VHDL development.Creation of system wiring diagrams including EMC/EMI screening connector selection for high-speed serial interfaces including HotLink, CAN, Copper Fibre Channel, 1553, StarFabric.Full life cycle development of three Cockpit Control Units for Harrier, Jaguar and Tornado; including writing of Requirements and design specifications, detail design entry (wiring and PEC schematics), implementation, VHDL FPGA/CPLD, test specification and design acceptance testing. Development of supporting test equipment for end of line testing.Development of several LabVIEW test solution for EOL testing and supporting application for production test.
