I'm Director of Communications at the Office of Rail and Road, an Executive Committee member and adviser to the Board.I have extensive experience leading in complex organisations and environments and in applying strategy, team leadership and innovation to produce creative solutions.My skills include: team leadership and development; corporate communications; public affairs, leadership counsel and coaching; developing and facilitating effective employee engagement; internal communications; crisis management; business strategy development; change management; and brand development and delivery.In addition to the day job at ORR I also lead the internal communications practice across UK government, as head of profession for some 1200 practitioners.I'm a Board Director of Engage For Success (www.engageforsuccess.org); was the 2014-15 International Chair at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC - a 13k, $6m global membership organisation [www.iabc.com]); and have been a Visiting Fellow at CASS Business School.I'm a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. I hold the UK CAM Diploma in Public Relations and am one of just 1200 people globally to hold the internationally-awarded Accredited Business Communicator designation.
