I am also the recipient of a Literati Award (Highly Commended Paper) from Emerald Publishing, the Douglas Nigh Award for best interdisciplinary International Management division paper authored by junior scholars from the Academy of Management, the WAM 2017 Past Presidents Best Paper Award from the Western Academy of Management, and the Knut Holt Best Paper Award from the International Society for Professional Innovation Management Americas Innovation Forum.In 2023 I received the Dean's Faculty Excellence Award for Service from the Sawyer Business School.--Prior to these current positions, I was Founder of SKB Greystone Group, where I completed projects for Fortune 500 corporations, organizations in the educational and not-for-profit sectors, and small Montreal-based manufacturing companies. I was also employed as Manager, Business Analysis and Strategic Planning for Birks & Mayors Inc., a leading manufacturer and retailer of high-end jewelry products based in Montreal, Canada. In addition, I worked in a succession of increasingly senior finance roles at IBM Canada, where I was recognized as an Exceptional Performer (among the top 10% of employees worldwide).
