M&E maintenance is never one size fits all solution, but there are some recurring themes. We spend time upfront to properly understand our customer’s needs and operational environment to build a solution that works for them. Aside from proprietary CAFM systems, the UK maintenance and FM sectors haven’t embraced or leveraged technology to the full yet. However, we’ve spent 5 years investing in and developing our own service management platform, fuelled by our relentless pursuit of greater efficiency and better service quality, at scale. As Head of Projects Sales & Development for ENGIE UK, my primary roles are to strategically build & develop the Projects division, enhance and support our existing customer relations and associated ENGIE business lines, bringing together a greater awareness of our project capabilities, and to identify and develop new customers. ENGIE projects specialise in Energy and Sustainability, Technical Engineering Services, including full MEP Design and Installation, Main Plant Replacement (Chillers, Fan Coils, Air Handling Units etc.) Combined Heating and Power (CHP) Installations, Complete Turnkey Fit-Out and Refurbishment of Commercial Buildings, including Fabric, Generators, Air-Conditioning , District Heating Systems, Shell & Core Installations to High Rise Buildings and BMS systems. In short, my remit encompasses all Technical Building Services within the Construction and Built Environment sectors. I have continually worked at every level of senior leadership and management within the industrial, commercial, retail and high end residential building services sectors, both private and public, for over 30 years. During this time I have continually delivered projects, resolved issues (both technical and practical), driven innovation and implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, all coupled with "best practices" to achieve significant savings, both financial and ecological. I am an excellent communicator and an experienced public speaker, comfortable and confident in using these skill sets to develop and build both new and existing customer relations across a varied and hugely diverse cross section of customers.
