We were given a new to market fertilization granule and asked to create an industry altering delivery apparatus for it. The system we designed had never been built before. Each day I would work with my team, generating sketches for new concepts and methods. Designing not only devices, but the equipment used to test those devices against a variety of factors including angle, speed, volume, rotational velocity, humitidy, distance spread and resulting scatter plot statistical data...Then spend the rest of the time prototyping based on what we learned. I was never an arms reach away from a pile of pvc pipe fittings, plastic weld, and a Dremel. It was the most rewarding job I have ever had.
