I am focused on building collaborative, multi-disciplinary communications teams to help businesses grow, advance policy discussions that protect our capital markets, and create pride among employees. Right now, I lead the KPMG U.S. external communications team, which focus on driving paid, earned, social and owned media for our CEO, Talent leaders, as well as our industry and geography teams. I also oversee our organic social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and more. Additionally, I lead our Audit practice’s communications, primarily focused on our audit quality initiatives, transformation programs, and promoting our team’s insights that will shape audits in the coming years.Connected to all KPMG communications, I oversee analytics and developing new approaches to understanding our media impact through the lens of stakeholders and trust. Prior to joining KPMG U.S., I worked (and learned from the best) at Hamilton Place Strategies, now Penta. We helped clients navigate hot policy debates, including too-big-to-fail, technoloy competition policy, tax reform, and trade. I also worked with financial services clients on deal and investment communications, especially those drawing public and political attention. I gained invaluable experience in running rapid response campaigns, building thought leadership platforms, and learning from an amazing team every day.I am back in my home state of North Carolina after a decade in D.C. and a short, but fun stint in New York City. I aspire to be a mediocre golfer and a better Tar Heel fan.
