I worked within the Research & Development department in collaboration with the marketing division's category directors to develop a new competitive analytical database of competitor product technical summaries. As a result, I developed a new list of functional requirements for the database and communicated these ideas with IT. Also, I defined new products to be tested determined by market research data of the top selling products within my category, in order to populate the database with current and useful data. Furthermore, I established a set of guidelines to maintain the database and keep the competitive product technical summaries current.
