Led the work that resulted in the Report “Italy’s Tax Administration: A Review of Institutional and Governance Aspects”

Led and coordinated the work on BEPS from inception to delivery of the final package to the G20 Leaders (November 2015). Ensured overall coordination across divisions in CTPA. Directly responsible for the work on the digital economy and on the development of the multilateral instrument.

Leading the work on Aggressive Tax Planning, via the upgrading of the OECD ATP Directory, the publication of analytical reports on emerging trends and confidential work carried out with government officials. Launched the work on Tax and Financial Crimes, bringing together different law enforcement agencies in the space of financial crime. Contributed to the setting up of an International Academy on Tax Crimes in Rome, in cooperation with the Italian tax police.

Carried out the work that led to the Protocol amending the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters, bringing the convention in line with international standards and opening beyond OECD membership. Global Relations Activities in a number of non-member countries such as India, China, Brazil, Malaysia.
