At just 13 years old, I discovered the magic of technology using my Apple ][ plus computer, and I immediately fell in love. But when I went off to college, I didn't realize it could be my career. Eventually, I became a full-time computer science student and earned my master's degree focused on artificial intelligence.But I was never satisfied with technology for its own sake; I was always excited about how it could be used to achieve business results. I started my career in consulting, and I became addicted to how I could take the deep knowledge I had around technology to achieve extraordinary outcomes. Spanning over 25 years, I have continued to take that passion and apply it to numerous industries and organizations. As a leader, I recognize that the way I can provide the biggest impact is by multiplying myself through teams. Whatever I can do to coach, mentor, and empower others can provide more significance than anything I can do entirely on my own. I am passionate about continuing to learn and teach; I am always curious and fascinated about our world and the people in it.As technology has become not just a tool of many organizations but central to its offerings, I started to see challenges as there became greater risks related to security/privacy and the legal ramifications on how technology was delivered and disclosed. This drove me to go to law school and become a licensed attorney as I often noted how technology leaders are unaware of those risks and attorneys often lack the vocabulary and knowledge to effectively work with technology leaders.Given my passion around solving business problems with technology, my desire to push business outcomes, my enthusiasm to enable strong teams, and my expertise in technology law, I am an excellent partner and trusted advisor for many organizations.
