As a IT Program Manager, I am responsible for providing key leadership in driving the development, implementation and ongoing management of IRS’ online services and application features. I manage all activities relative to the primary focus of delivering a valuable and comprehensible IT products and services.My organization has the mission to provide leadership in the delivery of information technology solutions that anticipate and meet enterprise-wide needs by empowering employees to deliver customer-centered, value-creating systems, products, services, and support. Some of my responsibilities are:• Meet with managers, Executives and IRS Senior leadership to define overall IT program goals and objectives.• Prepare complex action plans and schedules for various phases of IT program accomplishment, both short and long-range; ensure that plans are consistent with Service goals, schedules and policies. • Validate recommendations of needed resources with managers of various components of the Service. • Establish a system to review, control, and monitor on critical IT program deliverables.• Conduct in-depth analyses of program data, requirements, and impact; identify problem areas and determine how to resolve them. • Conduct briefings and prepare comprehensive reports to keep managers or executives advised of IT program progress and to communicate findings and recommendations. • Responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining adequate processes for review of work products and projects to assure technical completeness and accuracy.

Serves as a command level telecommunications requirements and implementation program manager monitoring telecommunications program and systems of the command. Provides telecommunications expertise in estimating the installation, modification maintenance, operation, and support of both existing and new telecommunications systems. Implements telecommunications programs and special projects. Coordinates the preparation of and reviews telecommunications statements of work. Prepares budget, technical reports, staff studies and briefings.

Provided managerial and technical services to both not for profit and for profit organizations. Performed substitute teaching duties in K-12 settings for the Rutherford County Public School System.

Responsible for all branch activities to include administration, inside sales, operations and warehouse. Responsible for Profit/Loss of $25 million annual budget supporting utility companies in middle Tennessee, middle Kentucky, and northern Alabama. Act as point of contact for new technology introduction rollouts to customers.

Responsible for telecommunications sales, operations, engineering, and customer service functions day to day. Responsible for corporate budgeting, profit/loss, personnel, administration, engineering, sales, and operations. Responsible for identifying new products, methods, and procedures to enhance productivity in house and provide recommendations to clients. Negotiates contracts for products and services from a variety of vendors. Keeps Corporate Staff and Board of Directors informed on all major activities and the impact on corporate profitability. Instrumental in five startup corporations that were later spun off to operate independently.

Responsible for installation, maintenance, customer service, inventory control, and sales support for telecommunications in the Mid-Atlantic Area. Managed 9 exempt direct reports and 450 exempt and non-exempt indirect reports. Acted as General Manager during his absence. On one occasion performed GM duties for five consecutive months. Established a customer satisfaction program that led to the highest ratings for three consecutive years within the Division. Grew revenues ten fold in five years. Participated as a member of the NT labor negotiating team.

Responsible for new system sales, installation, maintenance, technical support, customer service, and add on sales for telecommunications in midtown Manhattan. Achieved 135% of quota and was selected to the Presidents Club. Managed 8 exempt direct reports and 225 exempt and non-exempt indirect reports. Participated as a member of the NT labor negotiating team.

Managed 7 exempt direct reports and 275 exempt and non-exempt indirect reports. Participated as a member of the NT labor negotiating team.

Responsible for installation, maintenance, and sales support for telecommunications in the Southeast District. Managed five exempt direct reports and 75 exempt and non-exempt indirect reports. Participated as a member of the NT labor negotiating team.
