  I work with children who have a variety of developmental delays. I facilitate developmental growth through a balance of child-led and structured tasks. I use a variety of treatment models in order to serve adequately perform my job including sensory integration techniques, NDT (handling) techniques, behavior modification strategies when necessary, and much more. When I am doing my job properly, the child is engaged and organized because the activity is perfectly scaffolded to provide a challenge that is conquerable. To the untrained eye, it should appear that the child is merely playing.
