Operations Manager
CurrentAs the operations manager I am responsible for overseeing every aspect of the business and reporting to the owner. From the start of our construction phase I am the main point of contact and I schedule all suppliers and laborers. I spend the mornings working with the owner creating quotes for new jobs, billing, and completing all administrative aspects of running a small business. The rest of my shift I meet new customers, deliver material, labor, and anything else that is necessary to help drive business. Since the Covid-19 outbreak I created a safety manual using the CDC and BIAW guidelines to help educate and protect all our employees and customers. When we returned to work multiple contractors saw our manual and contacted me so I could help educate them and help them create their own safety manual. Essentials Duties: COVID-19 safety manager. Created safety manual and trained all employees on social distancing, PPE, using cleaning supplies, daily health screening, setting up wash stations, and I am main point of contact for all Covid-19 inquires and training. Point of contact and problem solver between contractors and employees. Creating estimates for new jobs and advertising. Scheduling suppliers, sub-contractors, and laborers. • Interviewing, completing background checks, and hiring new employees. Completing all state and federal taxes required to run a small business including Excise, Labor & Industries, Employment Security, 941 and 940 payroll tax. Proficient in Quick Books, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
