After 15 wonderful years at BBS, it is time for me to play more music, grow veggies, make a documentary, join the circus, learn another language, make a macrame belt, binge on Netflix, and who-knows-what-else. (I’m avoiding the use of “retirement.”) Thanks to my first mentors, Arnie and Jill, for inviting a young bass player into the wonderful world of film production; to my dear friends and first business partners, Pete and Cathy, who graciously allowed me to learn from my mistakes; to the many EP’s and directors who took a chance on a newly-minted producer; to my extraordinary production managers who saved me every time; to George, Paul and Yasmeen at Flatiron; to Al for asking me to join BBS in 2004 and to the entire BBS team for their friendship and support for these 15 years; to my agency colleagues; to my many clients; and to the amazing film crews, editors and support teams without whom none of what we do would be possible It has been a pleasure and privilege to work in this industry.
