Led evaluation opportunities in India's west coast and Bangladesh, plus later influenced evaluation efforts in Gulf of Thailand (GoT). This led to eventual acquisition of Blk-9 onshore Bangladesh and acquiring another Rutherford Moran's interest in the GoT- both serving as Chevron's first country entry pt.

Worked for Chevron's Mid-Continent BU (MCBU) Laredo-Lobo Asset Team. Interpreted 3D seismic and conducted sequence-stratigraphic interpretation (core-log-seismic) of the Laredo-Lobo reservoir (lower Wilcox) drilling numerous successful exploration and step-out wells in southern TX.

Worked for Chevron USA's Alaska group assigned to Chukchi and North Slope basins. Responsible for finalizing interpretation and evaluation of Diamond prospect mapping (OCS Sales 124 & 126) culminating in lease acquisition and drilling exploration well. This was a Pudue Bay look alike prospect. Also evaluated drilled as an NOJV partner other successful and unsuccessful plays in the lucrative Kuparak Uplands and offshore Kuvlum.

Worked an assortment of projects including preparing for OCS lease sales in central and northern CA, Sacramento basin, and Columbia River basin. Calif lease sales were cancelled last minute, Sacramento acreage farmed out, and acquired an onshore exploration lease in WA state when Shell was active in the basin.

Hired into Gulf Oil E&P and assigned first to offshore CA in prep for OCS Lease Sale #53 (south-central CA). Later worked all Bering Sea basins and in part responsible for picking up acreage and drilling an exploration well in offshore St. George basin.

Worked for Chevron's Development Geology group assigned for Main Pass offshore Gulf of Mexico. I led Chevron's first successful computer structure mapping project. This proved the reliability of new computer based mapping using various data sets.

Worked as an Intern for NJ's DEP Water Resources Department. Since I only had one class remaining to take at Rutgers I was able to work full time for the DEP beginning in January until I started graduate school in early September 1977. I provided field support for cable tool drilling operations prior to the construction phase for the Pequest Fish Hatchery which needed large quantities of fresh water. Also, worked on various environmental and water quality assignments that commonly led to industry resolution.
