I was born and raised here in Swainsboro, GA. I graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1990. I graduated from Swainsboro Technical College in 1992.in 1997 I began working with my late father and my Brother Adam at a farm equipment business that Dad owned in Sylvania GA. This is where I realized that I would spend the rest of my life in sales. I immediately fell in love with helping people and meeting people! In 2000 with the help of our Mother Adam and I purchased Dye Farm Equipment in Swainsboro. We changed the name to Georgia Equipment Company. In late 2000 I attended Southeastern School of Auctioneering and obtained my Auctioneers license. In 2001 Adam and I started Lane Brothers Auctions. The love of auctions has driven me from that point forward. Over the next 7 years we grew both businesses exponentially every year. in 2007 I sold my part of those businesses to Adam and I started selling Real Estate both at auction and by traditional listing method.After spending a couple of years working with a National auction company I decided it was time for me to go out on my own.In June of 2011 I started South Auction and Realty "SAR" .Since starting SAR we have been extremely blessed with business! We work Very hard at being professional in all of our endeavors. We are licensed in GA, SC and NC. We have no desire to be the largest company in our area. We do however expect and believe that no other company large or small can produce financial results for a seller better than we can! On the personal side I am married to Tanya Parrish Lane who is also an Real Estate agent here at SAR. We have 3 children, Morgan 14, and twins Dicey and Eli who are 3. I am very involved in our community. I have served as a County Commissioner since January of 2011, I have been an active member of the Swainsboro Exchange club since 2007, serving as president in 2014. We conduct several benefit auctions annually and host community wide fundraisers to help families in need.
