Rusty L. Moore - Attorney, President of Bankers Title & Escrow CorporationRusty L. Moore was born in Dickson, Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1981. While an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee, Mr. Moore served as Vice-President of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity and as an intern in the United States Senate. After graduation, Mr. Moore was appointed by the United States Senate as a Staff Assistant to Senator James Sasser of Tennessee.Mr. Moore received his Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1985. Mr. Moore was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1985 and is a member of the Davidson County Bar Association. Mr. Moore has been an instructor in legal services on the subject of land acquisitions for the Airport Operations Council International, conducted home buyers classes for local lending institutions and has conducted seminars for realtors on real estate closings and title insurance issues.In our community, Mr. Moore served eleven years a volunteer instructor for the W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School and is a member of the Metropolitan Nashville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Moore is a former President and member of the Board of Directors for Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity where he also provided free closing services for eight years. Mr. Moore was also President and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association’s Heart Gala and was a member of Board of Directors of the American Heart Association. He is an Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church where he chaired the New Member Assimilation Committee for many years and teaches youth and elementary Sunday school. Mr. Moore served on the Board of Friends of the Arts at Belmont University and is involved with Scouting in BSA Troop 31.Specialties: Bankers Title provides a broad range of real estate transactional services including title insurance, residential and commercial closings and escrow services.
