Current• Direct a staff of ten regulatory and compliance professionals for the upstream oil and gas business and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) business• Direct all aspects of HSE permitting, compliance, and reporting including air, water, waste, wetland permits, NEPA compliance for all oil & gas operations, including CO2 Pipeline infrastructure • Direct all oil & gas well regulatory permitting, compliance, and reporting, including CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects• Direct the preparation, submittal, and regulatory compliance of UIC Class VI CO2 Sequestration wells• Vast knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule requirements and reporting under 40 CFR Part 98 Subparts C, W, UU, PP, and RR• Vast knowledge of 40CFR60 Subpart 0000• Experience implementing CSA ANSI/ISO 27916:2019 Carbon dioxide capture, transportation, and geological storage – Carbon dioxide storage using enhanced oil recovery standard• Developed and implemented an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001. • Contributed to the Corporate Responsibility Report prepared based on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (“TCFD”), in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) Standards: Core Option, and including indicators from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (“SASB”) Standards • Monitor the ever-changing regulatory landscape and discuss regulatory changes that affect the business with the Government Relations VP and Executive Management• Participate in State Legislative sessions to review new bills and advise management on effects of bill proposals on the business• Support Lobbying team in development of regulations and State/Federal permits and policies• Direct all CCUS regulatory process and permitting• Architect of regulatory framework for CCUS projects on Federal Land• NEPA lead for all CCUS projects on federal land• Manage all contracts and budgets for regulatory CCUS contractor support
