I have been in management for over 25 years. My background is predominantly in operations, management, retail management, project management, recruiting and HR. My past management experience involved me managing anywhere between 90-150 employees. With managing an abundance of employees, it can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. It is very gratifying and rewarding to see talent develop into dependable, hardworking and teamwork oriented individuals, which in turn will hopefully translate into them becoming productive members of society…. not only professionally, but personally.I am a very high energy and passionate individual, that possesses a hands-on management style approach. Leadership, employee engagement, transparency, loyalty, and positive reinforcement are some of the variables that will influence/reflect a successful Team!! Being in a leadership role you need to “Lead by Example“. VP, manager, supervisor, lead, etc. These are just titles. It takes a team to be successful. A leader must be open to suggestions and accept constructive criticism from their colleagues and/or subordinates. Ask for feedback, because you never know, said feedback may open up more opportunities for success in all aspects. Plus at the end of the day you will be respected.
