Important Note: This is a personal pursuit. I work intermittently with this organization. Importantly, this work is currently unpaid as I am a part owner, and always takes a back seat to any salaried or contracted employment I may have at a given time.I’m the only engineer currently contributing at this entity, and so I am managing the AWS infrastructure ( EKS Kubernetese, S3, Cloud Front, Route53 DNS management, domain management, ELB, RDS Aurora Postgres, Lambda, KMS, MSK Managed Kafka, Cognito Identity Provider ), the backend services (dockized java, spring, reactor ), the integration protocol ( http + websockets ), the decoupled microservices using event driven design and kafaka, the client sdk generation ( code form plantuml ), the data administration client (angular, typescript, nodejs) , the game client software (AFrame, THREE.jS) and mobile native with Capacitor JS, as well as Authorization, RBAC, Licensing and Ownership.I have donated some longer full time intervals, using my own savings, between contracts or jobs to this organization, but when working full time for another organization, my contributions here are only the nights and weekends I can manage without taking away from my primary focus. This often means little to no progress on Marshmallow Jetpack for several months and that's fine. However, people do rely on me for this and I am not able to abandon the team and the efforts that have been put in this far. I hope anyone reviewing this will understand and see the additional technology exposure this gives me as a strength.I’ve been responsible for designing and building this infrastructure and generally helping to deploy their next “Next Horizon Game”.

Worked to build out Restful integration APIs using Express, Node and Typescript. Developed and shipped the edge device, mTLS certificate provisioning service for new edge device to MQTT integrations.I want to clarify why I left LVT because this was an unintended short stay. I loved The Director Bryan. I loved the Head of Software Engineering Thierry. The problem was perpetual overtime commitment. The company planning process is still maturing and timelines for the next several years were overly aggressive. We shipped the deliverables expected of us in my quarter there. But overtime was needed and this was going to be the norm for at least a year out. Longer if I was unable to affect change. This was unfortunately not a commitment I could make. I’m more than willing to work overtime when needed in a pinch, but I cannot do it indefinitely.
