• Assisted a multi - disciplinary team of experts, well control specialist, engineers and representatives from BP and multiple Federal Agencies to Plug and Abandon the Macondo / Deepwater Horizon Blowout.
• Logged the operations of the Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV) and provided operation support for the primary drillship used for installing the top hat and riser..
• Project Planning: Responsible for the completion concept for a High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) subsea project. Presented completion design to Working Interest Owners and received approval to proceed.
• Lead completion engineering support for a workover project using frac pack completion technique from the largest Deep Water Spar in the Gulf of Mexico. Lead morning rig calls, supported the completion operations.

• Developed completion designs and the installation of sand control completions for high rate gas and oil wells. Completion types included shunt tube and circulating water pack.
• Successfully completed 10 Large Bore, Open Hole Gravel Pack completions using shunt tube completion method. Wells produced no sand and were capable of producing from 90 to 230 mmscf / day of gas.
• Supervised the use of the first implementation of the OIL PAC Gravel Pack system developed by Schlumberger. Well produced 218 mmscf / day gas and 1500 bbls. of condensate / day.
• Used Lessons Learned from previous wells to reduce the Non Productive Time from 27% for the 1st shunt tube gravel pack completion to less than 2% NPT on the 10th completion. Team improved days to completion from 12.1.
• Successfully planned and implemented a circulating gravel pack to 4000 ft. Completed in a record 12 days with a Non Productive Time of 7.8%. Well was the longest Open Hole Gravel Pack in BP history. Production target.
