I am a writer/producer/director who has made innovative programming for digital and linear media companies including PBS, Google, Nickelodeon and BBC America.I used my 15 years of experience making entertaining, educational series to launch EDventure Quest, an education startup that helps young learners understand and embrace challenging material. Learning activities are incorporated into role-play gaming story adventures that keep kids engaged and encourage them to create their own solutions. Before launching EDventure Quest, I worked at Condé Nast Entertainment where I directed and produced multiple video series for the brands Bon Appétit, Epicurious and Architectural Digest. My series are all over the map, both figuratively and literally, but they all have a few elements in common. Whether I'm exploring Irish castles, presenting deep dives into ice cream production or teaching Natalie Portman how to crack a coconut; I convey detailed, comprehensive information about the subject matter and I make sure the audience has a lot of fun along the way. Before Condé Nast, I was the producer of PBS Space Time and PBS Infinite Series, two series that present challenging, educational content in accessible and exciting ways. We talked about things like dark energy, quantum erasure and hyperspheres. By the end of each video your brain will feel the burn but you’ll definitely enjoy the work out.Prior to working with PBS I was the creator and host of Science Friction, a web series that breaks down the real science behind comic book and sci-fi superpowers and shows people how they can become superhuman.
