Architecture / Engineering / Surveying / and Construction Management Firm in Southern Maine and Florida designing new construction and renovations for commercial, aviation, town municipalities, and the military clients along the east coast of USA. Its parent company, amec, is an international constructuction and engineering corporation with its world headquaters in London, England and acquired Oest Associates, Inc. in November 2008.

Responsible for all client contact, programming, design, hand rendering, 3D digital visualization, all construction documents, and some construction administration. Worked for builder/owner of a true Design/Build firm specializing in the craft of true heavy timber framed (mortised and tennoned shouldered hosing joinery) public and residential construction in New England. My team design work with John Libby' s craft was published in Regional and Local Magazines (www.housesandbarns.com).

Project architect on mid-sized project and Job Captain on larger projects. Responsible for developing design development through construction documents. Guided and edited drafts people work as well as draw/drafted myself. worked in a team organization institutional (educational, judicial, and medical) projects. Also was the firm's CAD and IT manager. I set up the firm's green material library and specifications as well as assist Alan Kuniholm, partner, in organizing the Maine Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. I was in the information committee and responsible for creating the local chapter's newsletter. I was the Project Architect on the firm's first LEED certified building (University of Maine at Farmington - college of Education Health and Rehabilitation) which received a Silver rating (www.pdtarchs.com).

Started as intern and worked up to Project Manager. Worked mostly on commercial, medical clinics, and light industrial projects, with church and mult-family residential. Worked a mix of part-time and full time during and right after college.

Taught design studion and design communications media classes to undergraduate architecture students.
