Freshman Research Initiative (Glowworms Lab): Utilizing CRISPR/Cas-9 knock-in technology to add a fluorescent protein tag to allow for gene expression by isolating C. elegans strains to target untagged genes closely related to human genes, specifically targeting the ced-3 gene (programmed cell death/apoptosis) to contribute to the Caenorhabditis Genetics Center database
