Hello!With over ten years of experience in the field, I’m currently a Research Assistant at the Clinical & Experimental Optometry Research Lab (CEORLab) at the University of Minho and a practicing Optometrist. My passion lies in advancing clinical research and exploring innovative approaches in optometry. I’m all about using my skills in both practice and teaching to improve patient care and outcomes. At the University of Minho, I’m fortunate to work in a collaborative environment where I can bring fresh perspectives and contribute meaningfully to our team.Besides my research work, I’m also involved in teaching undergraduate and master’s courses, where I get to share my knowledge and help shape the next generation of optometrists. On top of that, I’m frequently invited to speak at conferences and lead professional training sessions, where I enjoy engaging with the wider optometry community and sparking meaningful discussions.
