Responsible for applying makeup and prosthetics to aesthetically enhance celebrities, performers, individuals, entertainers, or for special events such as weddings or dates. Work independently or with a team. •Apply makeup to clients using a color palette and different tools such as mascara, sponges, eyebrow shapers, lip liners, brushes, and applicators.•Work with clients to create various looks.•Work on theatrical productions, movie sets, photography shoots, backstage at concerts, or on television shows.•Apply makeup for big events including weddings, funerals, holidays, and outings.•Set makeup with hairspray or other setting material.•Apply touchups as necessary•Use photographs or models for reference when consulting with clients on ideal look.•Apply prosthetics on movie sets. Responsibilities: • advising customers on the products suitable for face and skin type • recieving stocks and sure they are packed well, sealed and no damages • applying makeup on customers for all events • keeping customer information to update them whenever their brands come on offer • assisting customers throughout the floor for any assistance • selling makeup to new clients and cross selling from their usual brands to new ones so as upselling • attending to customer complaints and resolving their queries

• Operating a computerised till system with a barcode scanner.• Entering prices into the till system by scanning the items the customer has chosen.• Weighing and pricing certain items, such as fruit and vegetables.• Using special tools to remove security tags.• Packing and wrapping purchases.• Processing store loyalty cards, coupons and vouchers.• Using the till to check the total cost of purchases and informing the customer.• Taking payment by cash, card or cheque.• Using a chip and pin machine to process card payments.• Giving the customer change and a receipt.• Giving 'cashback' on card payments if the customer requests it.• Giving the customer any coupons or promotional items they are entitled to.• Answering customer queries.• Changing till rolls as required.• Keeping till areas clean and tidy.
