In these 5 months, I have been the point of contact for various Ahold Delhaize stores and Nederlandschoon in a project about litter. In this project we have focused on reducing pet bottles in certain regions. Within these regions we have organized activities together with the stores to create awareness about litter and especially the impact of the small pet bottles. In my role as the contact person I learned a lot about stakeholder management, especially in terms of motivating people, listening, time management, resolving conflicts, and about the importance of communication in such a project. I am grateful to Ahold Delhaize for these instructive months

I was often challenging my colleagues to beat me in who filled the shelves the quickest but mainly challenged myself to learn more about retail processes and about creating the optimal shopping experience for the customer. While crossing several departments within the Albert Heijn I gained more knowledge and more responsibilities.2015-2017: Store Employee - Delicatessen - 12-25 hours / weekAt the delicatessen I developed new skills, as this position required active sales skills and active involvement with customers. The challenge here was to provide delicatessen and other needs for the costumer, as a standard package, and additionally making sure to do something extra to make the costumer leave the store with a smile. At the delicatessen I gained more responsibilities such as: managing the stockroom, training people and occasional supervisor roles which eventually led to me being trained as a supervisor.
