Before I started my study nutrition and health in Wageningen, I did not have a lot of knowledge about the effects of foods and the process of the production of foods. I ate a lot of junk foods and did not care about the origin of these foods. After I gained more knowledge about food my whole opinion and lifestyle changed. I have become more responsible regarding to the environment and my own and others health. Now one of my main interests in life is food, either by cooking, producing or studying it.
