Sustainability Advisor: Clean Bus Fleet
While preparing the public tender for the first batch of zero emission buses, GVB asked for advice on getting towards a complete fleet of 200 zero emission buses. In order to provide support on this task, we (Cas Hoetelmans and myself) performed an impact assessment of different paths towards zero emission. Included in the assessment were the different technical features of the options, the financial elements as well as the organisational and political impacts. Previously performed studies in this field, as well as interviews within GVB and with stakeholders were the main sources of input for the assessment.

Sustainability advisor to the project group of the municipality of Amsterdam responsible for the public policy on ferries. I performed an analysis on the possibilities for charging infrastructure for hyrbid and electric ferries, and wrote a draft for the overall sustainability chapter to be implemented in the policy of the municipality on ferries.

Sustainability Advisor: Tco Model For Zero Emission Buses
I was (sub)project manager of the team that specified the technical elements of the introduction of the first fully electric buses in Amsterdam. The project entailed both the vehicles and the required infrastructure. An extensive TCO model was build within this subproject, which was filled with input from literature, performed pilot data and interviews. Extensive technology and financial analyses were performed in order to complete the model.
