In my role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I am responsible for overseeing the hiring process of new employees for screening - offers. After my experience at Sparkling People, I decided to transition to corporate recruitment, as this approach is more focused on finding the right match between individuals and the company, and the fact that they we becoming colleagues.During my time at Triple, I was in charge of hiring for our Technical Operations Department, which included roles such as Linux Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Team Leads, Network Engineers, and Cloud Solution Architects. Additionally, I was responsible for hiring Back-end Developers, specifically Node.js Developers and .NET developers.In addition to the technical recruiting responsibilities, I also collaborated with a colleague to oversee the internship program at Triple. This involved conducting interviews with potential interns alongside team leads, as well as managing the check-ins to monitor the progress of the interns. Furthermore, I was involved in the hiring process for students who successfully completed their internships and showed potential to join our company.

I used to work as a bartender and waiter. My job involved assisting guests in the restaurant and ensuring their satisfaction from the moment they entered until the end of their visit. Behind the bar, I prepared drinks, including coffee, cocktails, beers, and wines. While working in the restaurant, I was responsible for ensuring that customers were well taken care of, and I also made sure that the food and drinks were delivered to the tables. At the start of the evening, I ensured that the bar was set up, and at the end of the night, I closed everything up and made sure it was clean and ready for the next day.During my previous tenure at Laurens, I handled additional tasks with the team. As part of the management team, I worked on identifying potential changes to drive the company forward. I also took responsibility for managing certain machines during the COVID period, such as the coffee machines. I was in regular contact with the team to discuss adding new drinks to the bar and creating new cocktails for the menu.

During the early winter, I joined the hotel staff to prepare for the busy season. I mainly worked evenings behind the bar, serving our guests. On days when there was a significant turnover of guests, I helped clean and prepare the rooms for the new arrivals. The main reason I took on this seasonal job was to experience a different culture and step out of my comfort zone. Plus, being able to go snowboarding daily was a definite highlight!

I got challenged leading the people working on the floor and learning about cocktail shaking and fine wines. I enjoyed working in a larger group and communicating with the kitchen and the people on the floor. Making sure all the customers enjoyed their evening and left the place with a smile on their faces.

After visiting this bar for a year, I got in touch with the owner. He asked me if I was interested in joining the team because I already had experience in hospitality. After a great first day, I decided to join the team.In my first years, I started as a bartender. After two years, I became the manager for the following three years. My responsibilities included leading the weekend night team, ensuring smooth operations throughout the night, and handling various other tasks such as ordering, coordinating with account managers, event planning, organizing bands, DJs, and events, as well as ensuring guest safety and intervening in case of any issues. I also managed some of the financial aspects of the operation.
