As a part time employee for WESTAT I work as an assessment admnistrator under the leadership of NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress - The Nation's Report Card). I work as an adjunct instructor for the University of North Texas in the area of education and teacher preparation.

As director I was responsible for the oversight of all elementary curriculum, elementary programs, planning, nurses, gifted services, teacher training and professional development, parent information and training, ELL and immigrant services, intervention programs, head start and pre-kindergarten planning and partnerships, and served as the district homeless liaison.As director of federal programs it was my responsibility to complete and submit the district CFPA application for federal funds. I was responsible for Titles I, II, II, IV, and X. I was also responsible for all budgeting and monitoring of federal funds.
