Due to the size of the company I wear many hats in this role from basic administration to managing staff and future planning. I have worked closely with the partners over the last five years to diversify their income streams to include rental income and reduce their reliance upon the Garage traded income. This was in preparation for the Partners retirement. My role has included staff liaison and redundancy management, tenancy agreement and contract negotiation as well as navigational support to the Partners to access all the legal and financial expertise they need during this time. During this period my HR duties included, sickness and holiday management, disciplinaries, recruitment and leavers, dispute resolution, review of contracts and CPD monitoring.

During this period I did freelance work for a number of companies including updating a garage's employment packs, giving advice on settlement agreements and contract reviews and policy checks for a charity. I found working for myself exhilarating but missed having a team to work with.

During my time as a paralegal on the credit hire fraud team, I had a case load of 45 cases both litigated and pre litigated, many of my files were none delegated allowing me direct contact with insure clients, I enjoyed this aspect of my work and was successful in establishing good working relationships with client’s.
