I believe to call yourself an Artist it encompasses the passion of putting things together to create mini designs. It is not my nature, or goal to be predictable. Through visualizations and that unpredictability I share my belief that there is no right or wrong to art...which is an extension of our imagination. And I hope to have followers that comment, "I can't wait to see what Ruth is showing us next!" Through up-cycling/recycling practices I transform something old into something new. With unconventional, unexpected, and even renegade techniques, and materials my one-of-a-kind handcrafted designs will find find a home in your heart.I can't know what my art will be about for others, but I hope it will provoke something. That it might be a starting place for an emotion or a thought of always looking for what is beautiful and interesting. And I hope it will foster appreciation for how wonderful and complex this world that God entrusted to us is.
