I am Ruth Blom, a Realtor, a Sales Agent with Sibcy Cline, but most importantly I am a listener and someone who can help people achieve their goals. After several years in education and being responsible for the learning and care of people’s children, I now am entrusted with another important task, to help people find and purchase a home.I am a native Cincinnatian who is familiar with the region and all the interesting neighborhoods that surround the city. I attended St. Vivian School, McAuley High School, earned a B.S. at Edgecliff College and an M.ED. at Xavier University. I have also earned multiple teaching licenses, a principal’s license, a pilot’s license and now a real estate license.I was an elementary school teacher, intermediate grades, for many years. During that time I became an expert listener of children, parents, colleagues, administrators and professors. I feel my time in education has taught me how to better understand other people’s needs and wants, and how to be respectful, professional, and effective in today’s society. I am eager to begin this phase of my life working as a real estate associate at Sibcy.My personal interests including spending time with family and friends, walking and biking the bike trails and parks, tutoring, pet-sitting, reading, cooking, gardening and traveling. I try to stay physically fit by participating in Silver Sneakers classes. I am a member of the Cincinnati Nature Center, AARP, and an active member of my church. Also, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Realtor Alliance of Greater Cincinnati &MLS.
