Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Teaching Class Music and Piano to Grades 000 - 6 and Drama to Grades 4 – 6• Preparing and delivering quality training sessions• Assessing pupils’ work and reporting the outcomes of evaluations• Using technology to promote music and technology learning through iPad work• Developing and presenting engaging and educational lesson plans, programmes and materials• Developing students’ interests, abilities and coordination through creative activities, guided discussions and classroom supervision• Developing and implementing effective assessment tools• Running the Music@Reddam programme and managing all peripatetic staff • Organising and facilitating meetings with parents and carers, resolving complaints and enquiries• Liaising with colleagues and other key stakeholders to build strong working relationships• Mentoring and guiding teachers and learners, and managing learner portfolios• Organising various concerts, productions, meetings, cultural events and fundraising programmes• Responsible for Senior Preparatory and Junior Preparatory choirs, and three Orff bands• Organised soirees including managing catering, advertising and set up• Overseeing external exam entries and Reddam competition entries• Planning and managing team performance, skills development, talent and culture to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies• Data entry and database management, maintaining meticulous records• Producing various reports, presentations, analyses, correspondence and documentation• Performing as a strong member of a cohesive team with strict adherence to health, safety and statutory regulations, service level agreements, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
