Experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health and social care sector over the last 20+ years. With a PG Dip focused in Person Centred Counselling from the University of Stirling, I am also a reiki practitioner, therapeutic writing guide, and trained in therapeutic family work. My interests - therapeutic writing, movement and the outdoors - are drawn together by my passion for facilitating better relationships and community connections. Skilled in restorative practice, trauma recovery, systemic practice, supporting survivors of abuse and sexual violence, I hold social justice at the heart of my work. I practice from The Therapy Hut, my shepherd's in the woods just outside Dunbar, East Lothian, where I meet clients online, in person and for walking appointments in nature.
