Ruth's experience in working with elders for over 40 years gives her a unique perspective on the spirit of people. Ruth is a content expert in elders and their families and in geriatric care management. She regularly consults with attorneys, financial planners and other professionals to strategize how to best work with challenging situations. Ruth is a sought-after speaker to topics related aging, caregiving, resilience and finding meaning and purpose as we age. She is a Past President of the then-named National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (now Aging Life Care Association). She has served on numerous Boards and currently serves on the Mother Board of Crones Counsel (www.CronesCounsel.org). In addition, Ruth is an active Community Volunteer. She has had adjunct faculty positions at Portland Community College and Clackamas Community College.
