I'm a literature & data junkie. I love to learn about diseases & what new solutions we can bring to market to make people's lives better.I got my start at Boston Scientific working with physicians to understand unmet needs, mining vast quantities of published papers to frame a space. I learned how to interview clinical experts & thought leaders in different fields to interpret how to study a new device & to drive adoption. I developed strong skills in distilling all of these elements into crisp, actionable data for C-suite audiences. This insight helped shape investments & acquisitions & structure milestones. I was fortunate to work with talented, passionate people & it was a truly rewarding opportunity from the first day to the last.I love the analysis. I enjoy educating others about a disease & how to measure product performance. Seeing a product in trials & watching results roll in is exciting. Recognizing that we change patients' lives with our new products is meaningful & I'm lucky to have had a career doing just that.I'm excited to focus on one area now...the crossroads of diagnostics, neurology & AI working with Head Diagnostics to bring their iTremor to market. Bringing rigor to clinical design & shaping the studies to demonstrate the clinical utility of this novel, handheld device to measure brainstem function. All while working with my Irish colleagues as I steer the US facing operations. How lucky am I?! I'm passionate about community engagement. I believe strongly in the spirit of volunteering. We all can contribute to improving education, health, wellness in our communities across all age ranges. Yes it takes time & effort, but it pays back in friendships, in happy, healthy youth, in access to services for all.
