I spent six months with Action for Children’s practice improvement team and five months with their policy team as part of my internship funded by the Methodist Church. I analysed different quantitative and qualitative data sets to write reports and facilitated young people’s engagement with policy work.

I reviewed samples of law textbooks, gave feedback on proposed improvements to textbooks and responded to surveys about my experiences as a law student.

I worked with other mentors at our Student Mentor Office to run a drop-in advice session once a week. I also helped to host events run by the Student Mentor team.
