Ruth is a born storyteller. Even as a young child she wrote stories whenever she could, making up wild tales in her head that seemed far more real than reality itself. As she got older, many of her friends and family complimented her on her gift. However, it was her tenth grade English Teacher, Mr. Garlan Fitzgerald, who encouraged her to become a professional writer. That's when she began to believe that telling stories could be more than just a hobby.Over the years her imagination soared, weaving tales from Historical Fiction based in the Regency Era to Fantasy. From her never-ending well of ideas she has begun dozens of novels. Her most recent concept "The Children of Cain" series has inspired her not only to finally finish a novel but to aggressively pursue a career as a published author. And now, three years later, Ruth has made her dream come true. As of May 1st, 2013 her debut novel, "The Forsaken", is available in print. Finally, Ruth's characters have their chance to leave the corners of her imagination and live out their lives through the magic of the printed word.Ruth is dedicating her novel, "The Forsaken", to her English Teacher, Mr. Fitzgerald, as well as her husband, Jonny Craddock. Her teacher for being the first to truly believe in her gift and her husband for pushing her to strive for greatness in all that she does. Without him she would not be where she is today.
