Responsible for reviews of benefit eligibility for Reduced Handling team. • Place patients from all portals in appropriate beds throughout the facility in a timely manner.• Work closely with ED, PACU, OR and all inpatient units to ensure the smooth transition of patients to their beds resulting in high patient satisfaction scores.• Allocate resources throughout the facility based on acuity and workload.• Assume responsibility for internal professional registry per diem nurses and nursing assistants.

• Provide management, leadership, support and development to nine Patient Placement and Staffing associates in Clinical Care Operations.• Coordinate with physicians, directors, senior clinical managers and clinical managers to solve patient placement and staffing issues during Code Purple and tight-bed situations.• Liaise with Case Management regarding challenging direct admits from outside facilities.• Partner with Patient Financial Services regarding patient issues with the Admission/Discharge/Transfer system.• Co-Lead of successful facility-wide Premise installation.• Chair monthly system-wide Clinical Operations System meeting, monthly Resource Management System meeting and weekly Throughput meeting. • Ensure delivery of timely, relevant and efficient Clinical Care Operations operational services. • Oversee Patient Placement and Staffing schedules.• Assist with Kronos, Fortis and Casual 32 as needed.• Liaise with Banner Professional Registry coordinating travelers and per diem registry as needed.• Acts as Travel Coordinator providing support to all inpatient and outpatient areas in regard to travel needs. Recruit and hire. Follow travelers through 13-week contract in regard to timecards. payroll, competencies and any issues that arise.
