Ruth Guthrie is currently a professor of Computer Information Systems at California Polytechnic State University - Pomona’s College of Business. With over two decades of experience in computing and education and a decade in aerospace software development, Ruth has led and contributed to a variety of projects in both industry and academia. During her time at Cal Poly, Ruth has served in several capacities including Interim Associate Dean, Director of Partnerships, Director of Graduate Programs, Academic Senator, Department Chair, AACSB lead and Director of the Faculty Center. She also worked for the Chancellor’s office as one of four CSU representatives on the statewide California Open Educational Resources (OER) Council.
