I love my job working in Radiotherapy Physics in the South West Wales Cancer Centre in Swansea Bay University Health Board as it's very proactive and forward thinking team and also a very caring, supportive community. I recently submitted my MPE portfolio and I did well in the Level 3 Leadership and Management Diploma with ILM. I work in the Linacs and QA team, the CT team, as well as the Quality team. I also lecture and supervise students in the Medical Physics MSc in Swansea Uni. I am the departmental Wellbeing Champion. Apart from the people here I love the challenges of development work and coming up with new tests and procedures especially in a team. We really feel we are making a difference to our patients. Swansea is awesome as the nature is beautiful.
